Community Information Session and Walk & Talk

As part of our Nature Week events, the City invites residents to attend a community information session on The Point waterway in Point Lonsdale.

The Point waterway is a human created waterway that winds through The Point Estate. It is a complex system that contributes to the ecology of the area and provides passive recreation for the local community.

Due to strong community interest, we are hosting an information session on the function of the waterway, challenges involved and the City's approach to its ongoing care and maintenance.

The session will include:

• A short presentation explaining how The Point Waterway functions


• Information about the City's management responsibilities and approach


• An opportunity to ask questions


• A guided Walk & Talk

The session will take place on:

Friday 16 October
10.00am to 12.00pm
The Point Community Hub
88-90 Point Boulevard, Point Lonsdale

Residents of The Point Estate are encouraged to attend.

It is recommended you dress for our variable spring weather i.e. sun hat, sunscreen, walking shoes and jacket
