In a dystopian near future, single people, according to the laws of The City, are taken to The Hotel, where they are obliged to find a romantic partner in forty-five days or are transformed into beasts of their choice and sent off into The Woods.
The North Bellarine Film Festival has been bringing excellent Australian and international cinema to the Potato Shed since 2017. The critically acclaimed The Lobster will be screened at the opening Friday night of the festival and the 2021 Emerging Filmmaker Award will be presented and runner-up and winning films screened on Saturday evening.
