Event Description
The City of Greater Geelong invites all sporting clubs and associations to attend our upcoming free online Sporting Club Information Night, Wednesday 18 March, 5:00-6:00pm.
This session is designed to support both new and existing committee members by providing essential information, tools, and resources to help you effectively manage your club as valued community volunteers, to succeed.
The evening will feature an overview of our recently endorsed Fair Policy and cover detail on the following key operational items for your club:
- Sports lighting maintenance
- Fees and charges
- Council Vs Club responsibilities
- Parks level of service
- Facilities maintenance
- Keys & security
- Works on council land/buildings
- New booking system
- Key contacts
