Event Description
Textiles are universal, sitting close to the body as protection and comfort, and carrying deep personal meaning. Through fashion they become a powerful form of self‑expression with endless creative potential.
In partnership with the Australian Tapestry Workshop, Interwoven: Fibre Art and Fashion celebrates makers working across fashion and fibre art. Each work shares a common thread: the use of fibre and the artists’ connection to the Workshop’s residency program, which supports creative growth through studio exchange, exhibitions and community engagement.
