2026 International Day of People with Disability

In recognition of International Day of People with Disability, City of Greater Geelong invite you to celebrate the 2026 Geelong Awards for People with Disability.

The awards celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements made to our community by People with lived experience of Disability.

The event will be hosted live.

• Free Parking: Onsite parking is available for attendees. 12 Disabled Parking spaces available.


• Sensory Mobile Van: Available onsite to provide a quieter, sensory-friendly space.


• Light Refreshments: A range of refreshments will be provided, catering for a variety of dietary requirements.


• Hearing Loop: A hearing loop is available for attendees who require hearing assistance.


• Doors Open: 5:30 pm


• Event Starts: 6:00 pm
