Delivered by local paramedics, this session helps parents and carers feel more confident and prepared when their child is unwell or injured. Through clear, practical advice, families will learn how to recognise common childhood conditions, identify when a child is seriously unwell, and make informed decisions about seeking care.

Paramedics will explain when to call Triple Zero (000), what to expect if an ambulance attends, and the range of alternative and virtual health care services available. This supportive session empowers families to make safe decisions about their child’s health and wellbeing, while reminding parents and carers to be kind to themselves.
