Event Description
Geelong-India Collaborative Futures Forum

Join us for the Geelong–India Collaborative Futures Forum – a three-day event from Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 March dedicated to building strong, dynamic partnerships across key sectors: advanced manufacturing, innovation, education, film, tourism and agribusiness.

This forum is designed to showcase Geelong as a vibrant destination to live, learn and do business. Across the program, participants will experience Geelong’s welcoming community, engage with leading education providers and industry innovators, and discover the city’s unique lifestyle, creative industries and investment opportunities. Through meaningful discussions, networking, cultural connections and visitor experiences, the forum highlights Geelong’s strengths as a hub for collaboration, enterprise, study and lifestyle.

Hosted by the City of Greater Geelong in partnership with the Australian India Business Council (AIBC) and Geelong region stakeholders, the forum brings together government representatives, industry leaders, education providers, investors, cultural organisations and our broader community.

Building on the success of Geelong’s inaugural Geelong–India Business Roundtable in 2025, the forum supports the City’s International Engagement Strategy, which identifies India as a priority partner and celebrates the contributions of Geelong’s vibrant Indian community.

Program Highlights:

Across three days, participants will enjoy keynote presentations - including, an address by newly appointed Consul-General for India, Melbourne Mr Anish Rajan; plenary sessions and industry discussions; networking opportunities, and major announcements, including the official launch of Invest Geelong - Investment Prospectus.
